How has the learning curve been for you running the team? Has it been easy adapting to the Fancorps system on your end? Learning the site has been really easy. From my perspective and the teamers’, adapting to the new site has bee a fun and exciting experience. Any frustration with the change to the new site has been more than made up for by the ease, potential and excitement of using Fancorps.
Have most of your promotions (or Orders) been focused on physical on the streets activity or more online based viral marketing? Any success with one versus the other? Our orders have been split fairly evenly between physical and digital. Covering shows and lifestyle stores has always been our lifeblood and is still just as vital as posting comments on social profiles. Both types of orders have been equally successful.
The band looks to be very active as far as touring goes, has that been a big part of your focus along with promoting the current album release? Tour promotion is always the biggest focus of the team and developing artists. Direct word out moth and personal interaction is always the most compelling way to promote a band whether its band interacting directly with new fans or established, dedicated fans and new fans. When Flyleaf is on tour our teamers start blanketing the area and setting up for the show weeks before, leading up to promoting before and after the show via samplers, posters and stickers.
| Speaking of albums, looks like the band has just released a new CD/DVD Special Edition of their full length album! Anything special in the works to promote the new record? Do we ever! Very shortly we will be announcing the largest street team only contest that Flyleaf and A&M/Octone has ever offered. We are so excited that we get to reach this milestone on Fancorps and what I can say for now is that it will involve some work, some travel and some loud music. Sign up for the team to be sure you get the full scoop as soon as it is announced!! |
